Nowadays, it is obvious that diabetes and obesity are becoming increasingly worrying in the world, in Africa and in Benin. This problem is due to the unmoderated consumption of products rich in sugar, gluten, and fat which causes several diseases such as: heart attack, stroke, blindness, loss of sensitivity in the feet, kidney failure, sexual dysfunction, hypertension, atheroma, arthritis, thrombosis. As a solution, it will be a question of strengthening the nutritional state of the target people and of fighting against food insecurity, that is to say Produce and market agro-food products based on fonio, an endogenous resource through several food value chains respecting the standards and regulations in force. Our project aims to promote fonio through the processing and marketing of products and derivatives (fonio deguè, fonio couscous, fonio aklui, fonio cookies and cakes, etc.)
Our product will be sold on the Beninese market estimated at 11.18 million inhabitants. In this market, we can estimate the competition's share at 40%, which leaves us a margin of 60% on which we are counting, positioning ourselves at 50% of Bénin Céréales products.
We produce fonio degue; fonio which is a cereal very rich in cysteine, and gluten-free for diabetic consumers and people with overweight who have to reduce sugar consumption: For breastfeeding women to stimulate milk secretion, for the elderly to prevent cardiovascular disease and children for good nutrition. Fonio-based porridge flour makes it possible to have an instant porridge very high in vitamin C, zinc, iron, lipids, proteins, fibers, calcium, isoflavones and very quick to prepare for children and adults. Our products are currently sold in a few shops and we plan to make kiosks if possible mobile to create points of sale all over our cities (Cotonou, Abomey-Calavi and Porto-Novo) in order to be closer to the customer base.
Our vision is to make fonio (miraculous but underused cereal) known to the population by transforming it into various derived products offering consumers a varied range of fonio-based foods, while remaining close to them thanks to our points of sale (kiosks).
This valuation of fonio promotes the culture which consequently encourages its production at the farmer level and thus improves their living conditions.
Our potential wholesalers are
Retailers are among others the thousands of students thanks to the kiosks installed at university level

In fact, we plan to start by producing 500 botles of 25 Cl per day of fonio degue. This production requires a production boost of 183,334 Fcfa, the unit of which will be sold at 500 Fcfa for retailers and 400 Fcfa for wholesalers.
The profit from the sale of these cans per day amounts to 65,000 Fcfa per day or 1,950,000 Fcfa per month.
In addition, sales at the kiosks level are estimed at 50 liters per day per kiosk
Then it will be a question of adopting a good commercial marketing strategy for a good flow of our products.
